
The study of classical languages and ancient texts provides a connection to cultures and individuals separated from us through the passage of time. Beyond the reading of these texts for their patent meaning, there is at times a latent meaning, a truth of words and reality which underlies the intent of the original author and can speak to us through our descendent, native tongues.
